Your
used inkjet printer cartridges and old mobile phones
|
| CAN |
become
landfill |
| OR |
be
recycled to save the environment and help Hopefield Animal
Sanctuary |
In
the UK over 2 million non-biodegradable printer cartridges are thrown
away annually. There are also an estimated 90 million unwanted mobile
phones lying around which laid end to end could reach from London to
New York and back again, not to mention ending up as tons of landfill
waste. This includes their batteries which contain toxic compounds such
as cadmium.
You can
help by recycling your old cartridges and mobile phones.
Unfortunately our Brentwood Centre collection point has had to be
removed but we can send you freepost recycling envelopes. Alternatively, inkjet cartridges and mobile phones can be sent to the following address:
Recycle4Charity
On behalf of Hopefield Animal Sanctuary (C350)
FREEPOST
SEA 14098
Lewes BN8 5BR
All mobile phones are accepted. For a complete list of acceptable inkjet cartridges, please visit www.recycle4charity.co.uk.
If you have over 50 phones or acceptable cartridges, please email
simon@recycle4charity.co.uk and a free collection will be arranged. You will need to specify that it is for C350 Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.
Thank you for your help.
