Dexter is a very big character at the sanctuary. He arrived in December 2017 when his owners could no longer look after him. He had grown too big and needed to be sociable with other pigs. He is so cheeky – you will find him playing with his water bucket most of the time and he loves to be active. Staff take Dexter for walks around the sanctuary as he loves to be with people and being out and about exploring. Like the other resident pigs he loves his food and will not do anything until he has finished it all up!
